Q: Where should I look for jobs?
A: For online searches, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed are all good options, but we also recommend Google! Google is a neat little trick that will aggregate job postings from other sites. This will save you some time :)

Q: I am miserable in my job. It doesn't feel right, but I don’t know what career path I want. How do I figure that out?
A: Our best guess is that your job is likely not aligned with your strengths, interests, values, and personality. When there is misalignment, that’s when work feels “off” or “not right”. We recommend starting with understanding who you are and then identifying jobs that feel right. We know there’s something out there for you and that you can do this! ​

Q: I’ve applied to so many jobs but haven’t heard back. What’s going on?
A: Applicant tracking systems might be playing a role here! Applicant tracking systems scan your resume before a human sees your resume. Although you want to ensure your resume is ATS-friendly, you’ll also want to incorporate other strategies that might not pass through ATS. We can help with both ATS and other effective strategies so that you're landing interviews.

Q: I've interviewed but haven't landed any offers. How do I improve?

A: If you're getting interviews, it means something is working! Make sure to ask yourself if you're highlighting your accomplishments and making it very clear to the interviewer that you're the best candidate. You'll want to use proven frameworks and work on nonverbal communication to ensure you're presenting yourself in the best light. Omit what's irrelevant and emphasize what's important to the interviewer, so they can easily connect the dots. If you need help, we are confident we can tease out your accomplishments and tweak your responses to help you land that offer!

Q: Who are your clients?
A: Our clients are individual contributors, managers, directors, and executives anywhere from a few years of experience to three decades of experience. We have helped people who are executives who have started multiple companies to recent college graduates who are figuring out their path and how to get their foot in the door. The common thread is that our clients are truly ready for a change and willing to work for it! Q: How will we meet and where are your clients located?
A: We will meet virtually via Zoom or if needed, another video conferencing platform. Our clients are in Dallas, but also span different countries and continents - North America, Europe, and Asia - so we know distance isn’t a problem :)

 

Q: How can I talk to you and determine if we’re a fit?
